I will probably use Berryman's for my next carb clean on the Explorer when the time comes just to compare results with Seafoam. Pump the tank and then fill it up with good fuel and add 1 can of a moisture removal such as Heat or Seafoam. Take 1 full can of Seafoam and dump it into your gas tank It is prefered that you do this while filling up at the gas station so the mixture isn't too strong Also when you are filling up your car, the gas will mix up the Seafoam in the tank as much as possible. It gets the fuel inside sloshing around, helping to knock naturally forming condensation off the very top of the tank, and the use also burns off that stuff, letting you refill it with fresh fuel. Treat Rate. Water can wind up in your gas or diesel fuel as a result of condensation in the tank. This little can which runs around $7 is a must for any garage. I have 74000km and agreed. I use it in everything. We use the latest state-of-the-art equipment, techniques, and chemical tank cleaners developed in-house by our ongoing R&D program. It’s easier to test, it’s faster, and we can get a good idea of what to expect when we do this test in a car engine. Using fresh fuel (less than 30 days old) will help prevent water absorption from becoming a problem, as will adding a fuel stabilizer the day you buy it. Your hand will smell like gas, but it is simple to do this. Since most carburetors and the gas tank are vented to the atmosphere in some manner, there is nothing to prevent fuel from absorbing moisture over time. Been using both for a long time and everything I own runs like a champ.
